Doğu danslarının
başında gelen oryantal (belly dance) aynı zamanda da tarihi çok
eskilere dayanan bir dans türüdür. İnsan vücudunun akıcı,
pürüzsüz, kompleks ve etkileyici hareketleri, çalkalama ve
dalgalanma hareketlerinin çeşitliliği ile oryantalin karakteri
ortaya çıkar. Kılıç, meşale, mum, peçe, tül, baston ya da sopa
gibi malzemelerin oryantalde sıklıkla kullanıldığı görülür.
Fakat oryantal dansına estetik katan en önemli unsur kıyafettir.
Günümüzde pek çok dansçı kendine öz dans figürlerini yine kendi
zevklerine özgü kıyafetlerle sergilemektedir. Doğan GÖK Moda Evi
